Hannah Praise Caplinger, FNP-C, has been caring for residents of Macon county and the surrounding counties for many years. As a RN, she worked for both long-term care facilities as well as in the mother-baby, pediatric, and medical-surgical units of Harris Regional Hospital. Since graduating with her Nurse Practitioner degree, she has been working in urgent care, family care, psychiatric care, and internal medicine meeting the needs of all ages.
Ms. Caplinger started out going to Southwestern Community College for her Associates of Science in Nursing. She then transferred to Western Carolina University for her Bachelor of Science in the Nursing program in 2014 and then graduated in 2019 with her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner.
Ms. Caplinger was raised in Sylva, N.C. She has grown up in the community and now is raising her son, Jeremiah, here. She has a lab mix, Princess Leia and a morkie pup, Bella-Ewa. She enjoys traveling, watching her son play baseball, watching star wars, hiking, crafting, and reading. She is excited to care for and meet the needs of those in the community.
